Constance is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. Constance earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2009 from Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona Beach, Florida and her Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology in 2014 from Roosevelt University, Schaumburg, Illinois.

SPECIALIZATIONS

BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION

Constance has experience and training in assisting children, parents and teachers in behavioral modification strategies through community based counseling and crisis intervention.

MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING

Additional experience and training includes motivational interviewing, which encourages clients to become an active part of their own change process. With this modality, clients are assisted in “getting unstuck” from patterns that affect their lives.

TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

Constance’s approach with clients is direct and straightforward while maintaining a kind and compassionate presence. Constance believes in building a trusting relationship with each individual and using their strengths to help move them forward in the therapeutic process.  Constance’s experience with a variety of therapeutic models informs her ability to work with clients from many different backgrounds. She is excited to meet with new clients and help them reach their fullest potential!
