Sameeha Saied is a counseling psychology Master’s student at Northwestern University, with a specialization in children and adolescents. Sameeha earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in English and Textual Studies and Music History and Cultures at Syracuse University. She is passionate and dedicated to providing holistic, informed care to clients, and particularly those from underserved and underrepresented communities.

As a counselor-in-training, Sameeha is focused on working with adult clients experiencing mild-moderate emotional symptoms.
Trauma-informed care
With a certification in trauma-informed CBT and extensive coursework on the neuropsychological manifestations of trauma, Sameeha utilizes her training to help clients explore their emotional landscapes within the lens of their trauma.
Treatment Philosophy
Sameeha approaches her work with clients through an adaptive, culturally-informed, psychodynamic framework. She is passionate about the intersections between sociocultural adversity and mental health, family systems and their impact on coping and emotional wellbeing, and client-led treatment plans.
