A specialized one-day guided retreat by licensed clinicians for adolescents living with chronic illness, experiencing emotional stress related to health challenges, seeking peer support and connection, or those interested in mindfulness, creativity, and nature.

This retreat includes outdoor experiences to support regulation and presence while finding peer support and developing relationships. Adolescents will experience:

Forest Bathing

Forest bathing, also called Shinrin-yoku, is the intentional, mindful use of time in nature to promote relaxation, present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, and connection with oneโ€™s surroundings.

Group Therapy

Group therapy with licensed clinicians. Your child will given tools that they can use outside of the retreat and on a daily basis.

Mindful Movement

Gentle and intentional movement that is adapted to each individual’s needs with a certified Yin Yoga instructor and licensed therapist.

Nature Inspired Art Therapy

We end the day with an activity that allows your child to express themselves artistically while learning about plant care. Your child will bring home a reminder of their strength and resiliency.
